With the adoption of the Culture Policy Programme 2022-2023 'Resilience of Culture', the Province of Limburg has chosen to continue investing in Limburg's arts. We do this because we believe that art and culture, in all its facets, are part of the foundation of Limburg society. The unprecedented strength of the existing network of brass bands and wind bands, the many amateur arts associations and the varied professional infrastructure present give Limburg a cultural image of high standing. Everyone should have access to culture. Cultural participation, cultural education and festivals and events are important for this. We also stimulate cultural entrepreneurship in the cultural field. In this ambition, we work together with both the national government and the municipalities. We stimulate the connection and cooperation between various partners inside and outside the cultural sector and with partners from across the border.
